About Us
SACNAS is a national organization that promotes diversity in STEM by creating spaces in which everybody is welcome and diverse voices, experiences, backgrounds, and talents are celebrated. UI's chapter of SACNAS aims to provide space for all students to express themselves in an authentic way, while also providing valuable opportunities for professional development and networking.
Our Mission
UI's chapter of SACNAS is focused on two major goals: helping undergraduate students get involved in research and helping students attend the National Diversity in STEM (NDiSTEM) conference run by SACNAS national.
